Competitors sometimes advertise “19 languages.” Habah caps active storefront languages at four — on purpose — and invests in SEO and translations for each language you turn on.

Choose which languages appear on your shop from the list below. You can change them in Admin → Settings without redeploying your site.

Up to 4 active at once
Pick one default language plus up to three additional enabled languages (four total). That matches how most single-location restaurants actually operate — and keeps menu maintenance manageable.
SEO per enabled language
- Tenant sitemap and hreflang cover only languages you enable — not empty locale URLs.
- Full menu JSON-LD, custom meta overrides, and delivery landing pages follow your language settings.
- Same SEO feature set on Free, Starter, and Pro — plan tier does not remove multilingual SEO.
Auto-translate from your main language
Menu and storefront copy can auto-translate from your primary language (OpenAI when configured). Manual edits are never overwritten — status per field shows manual vs auto.
Setup checklist
- Admin → Settings: set default language and enable up to three more from the pool.
- Admin → Menu / Translations: review auto-translations or edit manually.
- Admin → SEO: add locale-specific titles where you want overrides.
- Publish your link — language switcher appears when more than one language is enabled.
Why not unlimited language count?
More locale URLs without maintained copy hurts SEO. Habah optimizes for a small set of real customer languages with hreflang, fallbacks, and admin tools — not a marketing number of flags.
Language FAQ
- Does the admin panel use the same languages?
- Admin UI is English and Spanish plus your enabled storefront languages for labels where applicable.
- Can I exceed four languages?
- Not today — the cap is product-wide, not plan-based. Four active locales is the designed maximum.
- Is auto-translate required?
- No. You can fill every field manually; auto-translate only fills empty or auto-marked fields.
